How many fish!

Wow! 3 fish in an 8 gallon?
2 clown and 2 gobys sound great for my tank, perhaps 1 Goby and 1 Firefish. I have only bought the tank so far because I feel that i still have to do more research before buying any fish. I read that If I had corals in my tank I would have to feed them! How does that work? What kind of food do corals eat?
