The all-in-one Milwaukee CO2 controller is not reliable. Actually I should restate that the bubble counter is very unreliable (many many problems), the solenoid is OK (I've heard of some issues but not very many), the regulator is fine.
I agree totally , the needle valve is brass, and only keeps a steady bubble count for about 6 months. The other one J&L has is stainless steel but you then need a separate bubble counter
