Found Electical Problem. Need Help

Put it on the shelf with the letters NFG on it. Small expense as compared to losing something from you tank because the power went out while you were away...

Keep it just in case the GFI trips again and it isn't the ballast.

As for the testing, a megger is your best bet. Check with your local electrician..
