After changing seals 3 times (each time lasted about 3 or 4 months) I still had problems, although not as bad.
Eventually they sent me a new volute, the black one. Maybe the translucent blue volute was slightly warped, I am not sure, but it was worked with no salt creep at all for 2+ years now.
