	When you get new corals it is a good idea to dip them in a solution to disinfect them , this also puts a tiny protective coat on them.Such as sea chem dip. Is this coral new?How old? Had this happen to a montipora,3" tall,it started at 8:00 am and at 3:00 pm all but the base was gone.It worked from the tip down.After a quick search on web,I decided to frag the part that was left. I cut it about 2mm below the bleached part.So I was not getting any bleached or rtn. It survived,as for the rest of the monti it died.In such a short time. Act quick. Dan  |
