![]() The Acros did not grow as fast as they could have. I've stopped using RO water for top-off since it requires me to connect some hoses to my bathroom's fixture and it was bothersome and time consuming. Since my tap water only has about 5ppm of TDS, I now use just tap water. A few times, I allowed a few gallons of fresh tap water to top up my tank and some corals bleached (I believe due to chlorine). However, they have all recovered and I now run a carbon filter in my top-off reservoir to remove the chlorine from the tap water. Another time, I used almost an entire tube of Tunze epoxy and clouded up the whole tank. Many of the corals bleached. Again, they recovered over time.
These pics represent the sequence from the time I obtained the coral to some time close to the present.
