Operates one 250w 14K double ended HQI metal halide lamp (bulb included in price). The new 250 watt 14K double ended bulb emits a bright crisp ice blue white color that is great for reef tanks. Low profile reefstar is light weight and corrosion resistant. Unit includes highly reflective hammertone reflector, tempered glass lens and remote HQI ballast. Designed to hang above the tank. As the title says I have a 250watt hqi reef star for sale. I am not currently using it but if it don't sell I will use it on my 10gal. Used for about 6months and then ugraded my system to 2 400w lights over my 90gal. It has been sitting in a box for the last year doing nothing, while I decide what to do with it.
