I have an ASM G4X with mods that skims my 230g tank although with the bio load I think I am going to upgrade in the future. I have also run it with a G3 which I found to be a little small for this tank so I sold it. ASM are great skimmers and are basically plug and play (Except the gate valve mod  ) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
