1. Raise the bubble production diffuser rim to the same elevation of the tanks water line.

2. Pull the black sponge out about 1/2" or a bit more higher than the bubble production diffuser rim.

3. Adjust the output tubing to be just slightly into the sponge. Mine actually goes down about an 1" or more into the hole of the sponge. It isn't causing any back pressure issues so far and it also reduses the amount of salt spray.

4. Get a cold glass of beer and stare at a bubble free tank.
