So...when's the next meet?

Hi, my name is Matthew, and I'm an addict.

It's been six days since my last purchase. I've been trying to cut back, but it's hard, you know? I'm just so thankful for these meetings, a chance to talk to other addicts and feel supported. I have to say, though, that I can't really see how they're helping me overcome my addiction.

Most of the people I met at the last meeting aren't in recovery, and don't even seem to be trying to control their habit. In fact, most seem to have even more serious problems than I do, and several even encouraged me to buy and use more.

Still, if we're having another meeting, I'd sure like to come. My wife's an addict too.
