actually a 10K bulb will give enuf long wavelength blue light for corals, so no you don't need actinic Fluorescent or PC bulbs in any MH set up really.

now running 20K bulb the only reason you would want to run actinic is for extra color or for a in between lighting power for be for and after the MH. If you have them try them and see how you like it and make your decision from that.
