 I just dont know if there is a pressure rated pump that is quieter than the mak. Its not overly loud but with the wifes desk 3 feet from it..... It is the only thing left on my tank that makes any noise. I am thinking of making a housing for it lined with carpet padding. I fan add a can to remove any hot air around it as well so the heat doesnt go into my water instead.
