![]() ok i have a 1 1/2" bulkhead in the sidewall of my sump. in the past i have had a 1" threaded pvc cap screwed into this this with a diy hole drilled into this and the float valve screwed into the cap. this is a problem because it isnt a snug fit and i basicaly have to rely on silicone to keep things from leaking. its a hassle to take all this apart to clean the valve. is there an easier way to attach a standard kent abs float valve to a 1 1/2 bulkhead? i think the thread on screw for the valve is 5/8"
is there such a thing as a 1" male thread with a 5/8's inch hole in it?
