The other day I thought my light ballast was burning out as I had a weird smell in my office (where my 77g tank is) so I left the one PC light off for a few days.. no weird smell. Tonight I was sitting working on my new computer and I sort of smell that smell again, and a wierd sound (like a clicking sound) I start looking around and LOW and behold I found the source of the problem, a pump i got in a batch if IO a while ago decided to have the power cord fray. Thank gawd I did not have my hads in the water , as I moved the cord and it literally came off with little to no force at all...

That was VERY CLOSE!!!
