my thinking would be this...

much much much easier to run a new bead of silicone on the inside of a watertight tank, than to repair the tank if the bond between glass begins to leak.

I'm looking for a watertight 90 cube. lemme know if you want to get rid of it!

No first-hand experience though. i would think that the corner bead of silicone would also protect the structural bond from damage from glass cleaning/scraping.
