Waterfall pump recommendation

I am going to add a waterfall feature to my small backyard pond. It is just a baby pond, maybe 100G preformed. Waterfall will only be 3-4 high. I just want the sound of running water... No fish.

Also. How do you keep the intake from being clogged with debris?
