Yes you can dose iodine. Zeovit makes a couple types:
Iodine Complex and, the one I use Potassium Iodide Fluoride Concentrate. You don't NEED to use them, but it does help improve color and health in some corals. Lugols solution is iodine, and is often added to tanks.
