Quarantine here.
It is huge pain but I've aquired unintended hitchikers each time I've skipped it. Flatworms, aiptasia, cynao (though I doubt you can avoid cyano). 4 -6 weeks. Only prophylactic is praziquantel, a de-wormer. I have done formalin dips for clownfish but on the fence about it.
