Securing eggcrate on top of tank.

I'l be covering my tank with eggcrate, has anyone found a nice way to secure this to the top of the tank, I'm looking to hold it firmly in place to keep fish from jumping out, but I'd like a nice neat look to the top of the tank. I don't want to weight it down with anything because this would block out the lights.

Also the same question about gutter-guard covers for overflows, what is a simple way to hold them in place?
