Toadstools are very easy to attach. I have done dozens. Just get a small Tupperware type of container, put some rubble in it. Stick the Toadstool in the container, and wedge a couple of pieces of rubble between the stalk and the container. In a couple of days it will attach. Then remove the pieces of rubble you don't want from the stalk.
