LTA anenome acting strange? Help appreciated

So I got this LTA yesterday and the store had it for 3 months with no problems. Yesterday it was half open when I put it in the tank (placed him in a little crevice sort of thing. After dinner we came home to it fully open and looking happy, this morning it was inside itself and once the lights came on after my shower it was fully open and looking happy. Now after lunch we came home to it pulled inside itself and looks like stringy mucous stuff around it. Is it trying to move and stuck in the hole? I'm afraid to touch it as I don't want to stress it more.
