Hi Keith,

It depends on what animals you keep. If it's for softies, I think two PE1's would be enough. If you keep mainly sps, I'd go for the PE2's.

Even with the pe1's, you'll get significant current up to 2 feet away...so you may need to move some corals so it doesn't take it on full force all the time.

Unless there aimed properly, a wavemaker may be another option (one which I'm considering right now). I'd imagine that with the pe2 being 50% more powerful, you'll have significant current up to 3 feet.
