Permanent Aquascape?

This is all similar to my line of thinking. I like the advantages of both but don't want to create any problems.

I will soon be posting some pics on my build thread but I have managed to shape over 100 lbs of Marco rock so far. I've used a diamond wheel to flatten the sides mating with the glass and chisels to form the joints.

I may pre-drill several holes in the base rock to accept live rock additions and changes. It will be nice to have a very solid foundation to build off of.
