Regarding the hear, I'm hoping not. Trying to learn as much as I can about them, don't really know much at this stage. Wasn't just going to sort of jump in and see how it goes. I don't know about the algae either lol.

Oh and I know someone will ask why I don't just keep them in the tank. At some point they'll grow out of the tank and I think that would just look messy. Open top, etc.
