I'm not sure I really follow and you know maybe I just looked at the pictures too quickly but it doesn't look any taller to me than his old tank? I thought he meant that the breadth (i.e front to back) dimension was 90" but the left-to-right and the up-and-down dimensions were the same as before.
If he's only using 400's and the depth really is 90" I'm surprised that the light can penetrate that deep. He's only using 6 bulbs if I remember correctly? It IS a fabulous setup. Definitely not your average setup!!! Have to go plan my 851 gallon tank now...
