Default Scratches - Ideas?

Hi,
I have recently noticed scratches in my glass tank. I'm not sure where they are coming from but it might be from particulates getting caught in my mag float. Anyway, anyone have any ideas how to get them out/buff them out? There suddenly seems to be a lot of them. It seems the more careful I am, the more that show up. Any pointers would be great!

Thanks
Eric
