Yah you could use a clean new razor blade and cut it, but as mentioned move it to a separate tank to heal up for a bit before putting it back in the main tank. I would be inclined to just let it be tho.

On a side note, I have 5 anemones (all clones from 1 bubble I've had for 4 years) that I have never once fed. They are all large, colorful, and healthy. Don't stress too much about not feeding them for a while!
