Two at the most. I have an Orchid Dotty and Perc in my 12 gallon. The tank is definitely fish full. I would go with the Orchid Dotty over the RG, awesome fish with great personality. See my sig for a pic of Inara our P. fridmani aka Orchid Dotty.
