I do like t5's a lot more. They have a nicer spectrum and brightness and are more energy efficient than PC's but i also want the corals i chose to do well in my tank and show their true potential.

I found the nova extreme 2x39 t5 with a total output of 78watts. Is that enough over my 36" 28gal to grow what i want???

I was looking at the retros but they were strangly more expensive than buying the fixture in all cases. Im not sure why.

And The reason why i dont want to go over budget is because i cant justify spending so much on a hobby when there are so many other things around me that NEED to get done.
