My opinion, you get what you pay for with aquariums, much like most things. Sure you can find cheap cheap tanks, and you can find tanks that are a small fortune, just depends on what you want. In simple terms, I wouldnt go too cheap, after all it will be holding many gallons of water which will hopefully stay in the glass box!! That said, I had mine built at Gold's and am happy with it, which i would consider an average cost, not a rip off, and not super cheap.
