call your local toys r us and ask if they are getting any Wii's......... they get shipments in on Saturday morning. Go at 8am and lineup. They will give you a wrist band and you can pre-order accessories and games (and pick them up later in the day)
That is how I bough my Wii for my niece & nephew. When I did it 6 months ago they still had 8 Wii's after I bought mine. Cheers, Vic [veng68]
