Tubifex worms for Mandarines

I used to feed my scooters bloodworms .. they loved it (just the right size food for their tiny mouths I guess). But I don't think it's a good enough staple food. I'm not so concerned about the FW vs SW, but more important (IMO), to look at things like carbohydrates vs. protein levels vs. moisture content and etc. and unfortunately I think the bloodworms aren't good enough for long-term. I don't know what the #'s would look like for tubifex, but I think if you can use it to train them onto other foods (e.g. mysis), that's gotta be a good thing..
