Default Thanks for the meet, and my new coral!

Hi Ed, and everyone!
This is Imran. I used to be ihayat but.. thought I'd go and get a slightly catchier username here, so I'm now.... wait for it...... "Winters"!

So right.. same guy... different nickname. It's been a while since I used this nickname. And no, I'm not a snow fan. I just.. always wanted a cool nickname. Ahem. (Get it?)

Anyway.. I just thought I would use my new nickname to post a (yet another) thank you to Ed and everybody for the meet. I thought it was lots of fun.. certainly a meet I will not soon be forgetting. (Right Eva?)

And thanks to Chris for providing me with the Zoo (x2), the non-pulsing Xenia, and the Green Star Poly frag. Thanks to Rich for the Mushroom frags (x2 + 2 free floating ones.. which I haven't glued down to anything so.. hmmm......) And thanks to Ed for the other Green Star Polyps frag!

Here are some photographs of how my tank (90g + 20g sump) looks now:

Front view. With help from Harvey, I recently got a lot of hair algae (and every other kind of algae) cleaned off of there.

Re-aquascaped for increased circulation.

And instead of having a back-wall of rock, I've moved it into the middle. Makes the side-view much more interesting.

Still love this blue sponge I got on a rock from Harvey a while ago. It's been growing steadily! I love sponges!! Maybe I can get some more!

Finally.. a good hermit crab photograph. Couldn't resist.

And now.. the coral:

Chris's Zoo frag No. 1. I'm assuming I'll just put this frag on its side like this and eventually they will expand onto the surrounding rock.

Not sure what to do about the little zoo frag on the plastic strip. Hmmm.

Chris's Xenia. Looks cool! Looks like it's happy. My hermit crabs love the rock. Must have had a fair bit of food on there.

I like this Mushroom Rich! And the little red mushrooms around it too. And is that a bit of macroalgae attached too?

Thanks for the red mushroom rock, Rich! I can swear that the mushrooms have grown considerably since Saturday!

Ed, the GSP frag is just too cool! I love these!! Also doing well, it seems.

I know it's just a start, but it's my first coral and I hurried home, did a quick freshwater dunk, and put them into my tank. And have been looking at them a lot. (Forget the TV!)

Anyway.. enough from me for now. Thanks again to everyone at the meet, especially Ed for all that work and hospitality.
