I'm not sure what they use, but slower curing epoxy's are better than the faster (5min) types.
All of them are inert when cured, so a good quality epoxy would be best. The best place to buy this stuff is at a hobby store and Hobby Poxy is a good quality product.(And I think it comes in 500ml cans) Keep in mind the longer the cure time, the tougher the epoxy.(In most cases.)
