According to what I know, the major issue with Bayer Advanced insect killer is that it is not sold in Canada. Its main component is imidacloprid. Imidacloprid has reportedly been outlawed in Canada.destroys bees.
I can say with certainty that neither Bayer Advanced nor any other product may be used in your reef tank to control AEFW. It is forbidden to use a pesticide for a purpose for which it has not been registered.
