SeaHorse_Fanatic will become famous soon enough

Try directing a bit more flow over the leather to help it "shed." My toadstools do this all the time & they bounce back within a few days at most. 48hrs is too soon to panic

so my advice is to increase flow & keep an eye on it but not to worry too much.
