Not sure I understand your questions, but when you cut the back glass, you need to drill holes at the ends at the bottom corners, then cut from the radius/outer edges of the holes to the top of the glass and meet the holes in the center/cut left to right with a straight line

Make sense?

If I understand your thoughts, no, you can not cut a straight/square corner as it will fracture. Whether it's right away or later, it will crack.
