So I took apart the power head and this is what I found.
Looks like it melted. There was a bunch of black plastic pieces all over the tank. My worry now is, do I have to replace the sand? Is there chemicals in my tank that I won't be able to remove with water changes?  Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
