well heres the tank setup so far 90g tank 130lbs lr 2-3" live sand prizm skimmer 5 hagen 802s 22" fluidized sand filter 6 48" no tubes things i will be adding next week 50g-90g sump useing a mag 7 better lighting vho or mh fish volitan lion 5" snowflake 7" naso tang 3" bird mouth wrasse.7".any thing i can do to improve on this and will this be a to higher fish load to keep corals ? thanks guys |

![]() I'm not the expert but here's what I would do, in order:
1. Ditch the naso tang, well maybe not now but in a while before it gets huge. 2. Make sure you have a large lighted refugium for growing macros. 3. Keep an eye out in the "For Sale" section for a good skimmer. 4. Consider ditching the lionfish and the snowflake moray, aside from their borderline reef-safeness they must add a huge nutrient load to your system. I would consider keeping the lighting the same and growing mushrooms/soft corals, as far as I understand a higher nutrient level actually benefits these corals. Otherwise just keep it FOWLR if you want those large predators in your tank, JMO. |

![]() on your advice the tank shall be a fish only for now until they have grown to large for the system,there not fish ived orderd but rather ones the havent sold for ages and i kind felt sorry for the little guys.
