![]() Just checking to see if anyone on here also keep asain arowana's
I just starting keeping these amazing fishes and have a lot to learn about them I have some question to some of you who have kept these fish on what you feed them. The eight that i have now only eats superworms and crickets, but crickets smells bad and have read superworms are not that good for them. So i want to know what you feed your arowanas? Thanks Dave |

![]() Dave, try soaking the worms and crickets in garlic for a few days and then soak the new food in garlic. After a few days feed old food and new food at the same time with both soaked in garlic. The idea is to hide the new food smell.

As for feeding them, you could try marbled crayfish, they clone themselves so you can start a colony with only one. They also have fairly large batches of eggs, I separated 5 of mine and put the 1000+ babies they produced into a sparate 40 gallon not too long ago. |
