Here's a Bonsai that turned out nice. It might look like I post-processed my photos like crazy. But nope, the Kessils put out so much blue and white light, I only have to apply automatic white balance to all of my photos. But I do have to dial down the camera's exposure. Otherwise, the raw photo is way too bright.
To see the raw image straight from my camera, here's the link: https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...3e&oe=5548507E Last edited by Samw; 02-14-2015 at 06:08 AM. |

I was thinking of letting the staff choose. See if my luck turns.

Yes, and I have nothing but good things to say about them all.

A couple of more photos. I think red is the color for Valentine's Day coral and I do love this coral so I'll pick this photo for the official entry. It's an encrusting Goniopora.
This photo was taken only 17 days after I installed the Kessils. This pink Bird's Nest coral was more tan than pink before installing the Kessils. Last edited by kien; 02-18-2015 at 07:17 PM. |

Even though I'm pretty sure already that I'm going to vote for brandpauley's tube anemone because the photo is SO good; as promised, here's an updated photo of my rainbow brain. I guess I should use this as my entry. It's hard to choose between this one and the yellow Plate in my avatar.

Yeah, I've seen lots of rainbow Brains just as nice as mine, but I've never seen a yellow Plate as nice as mine. I think you have to be a Plate enthusiast to appreciate it though, and it seems most everyone likes a rainbow Brain. The Plate is irreplaceable.
