Default when changing bulbs

so when changing bulbs on t5 lighting in my case a 6bulb fixture is it best to change 3 or 2 first and wait a week and change the remainder of the bulbs? i dont want to mess up my corals as i have never changed the bulbs in my fixture before.

I also have a 6 bulb and when changing them I do 2 a week. Did all at once first time and bleached everything.

I would think if you're changing them in time, doing all at once shouldn't be a problem. If you bleached everything, you might have waited too long

Alternatively, if you can raise the fixture a bit, that would take care of bleaching issues (because we all wait longer than we should)

Ya, you may want to raise that thing up a foot to ease into it

Default great info

was interested in this topic as well as ive just switched to a 6 bulb fixture and was curious about bulb changing. When i got the fixture, the bulbs were probably 1-2+ yrs old judging by the "burnt" look near the prongs...

So I just changed them all out....at once... no problems. Had an algae bloom but that was from NitraGuard BioCube thingys. my bad....again.
