I am thinking of it but holding off because of possible noise issues and also I have already spent money on the pumps I have

Do it!
I had a hole in my pocket too. I ordered two of them on the 23rd. Overnight delivery. My wife went out for 15mins on the 24th and sure enough she came home to a note on the door from the UPS guy. So no delivery now until the 29th.
Just my luck, the only time I wish they would do the usual and throw on the doorstep and leave and it doesn't happen

The other thing I'm considering is one of the jebaco r20 pumps and run them opposite to my mp10s I already have ? save me 200$ Or think i the gyre will be "that awesome"

2 x MP10 on a 6 foot tank? I'm surprised you find that is enough on a tank your size! I run MP40's on my 77, although not at full speed. Yes, you should use the cash burning a hole in your pocket for hardware that will provide a bit more flow in your tank. Whether it's a new Maxspect or something else, treat yourself & your salty critters.

I love my gyre. Only had it for two weeks but so far I am very impressed. I originally left my mp40 running along with it but have since taken it out. On my 6 foot tank and the gyre at 70% I have a ton of flow throughout the tank. My sps love it. I have honestly never seen such good polyp extension.
