I'm using a Sonata Quiet case with a Piano Black finish, can't hear it even if its under load and runs beautifully. Plan is to move to a lower profile case once I'm done re-doing the entertainment area. New cabinet/shelving etc.

Specs on my PVR/HTPC are P4 1.6, 512mb ram, 200Gb drive running
Windows XP Media Center Edition.

Obtained MCE through work, but using a mod for the remote, waiting on a MCE remote I'm bidding on at eBay to finish the package.

No pics at the moment since the whole area is a mess while I redo my cable drops in that part of the room and work on the shelving.

Hi Divman. I see this is your first post. Welcome to Canreef. Your systems sounds good.

Teevee, yes, I have heard of Generic but have never been there. Judging by the prices on their website, they do look like they are one of the cheapest places around here with similar prices to Worldwide. The 1 thing about Worldwide though is that they have 4317 items currently on their pricelist though I'm sure the other stores could order similar items.

Steve, I had made a New Years resolution back in January to not drink too much acidic carbonate beverages. So I hadn't bought a case of Coke in 9 months. When I saw the Vanilla Coke on sale, I had to buy a case.

Lostmind, that case does fit a fullsized ATX board. However, if used with fast ATX systems, you might have heat issues with it from the reviews that I read.

I'd try a full micro atx with a side blower cooler to keep heat down. But then, your system will start to get loud...

Bah

Let us know how it goes.
