			 Hey guys,

I am just starting to get in to the salt water hobby. I am just currently shopping for a RO water filtration device. Since i have never had any experiences with RO filters I need some help from you guys. My budget is around $150. I really do not want to go over this amount. I live in Canada AB Calgary please factor in shipping too. This is the system I am thinking of. 120 bucks free shipping and it looks reliable. But once again I have no idea what I am looking for in a RO system. http://www.maxwaterflow.com/6-Stage-...tem_p_850.html Any suggestions are welcome. THANKS Martin |

I've had several RO and RO/DI systems over the years (3 hooked up right now) and I don't think I will ever get another that doesn't have a boost pump. The Vertex Deluxe Puratek has definitely been my favourite with it's auto flushing and other bells and whistles.

I can understand that you're on a budget but the time and water you'll save is worth the extra money. |

Yes you will be good for awhile. You can always buy a TDS meter and test your water with the new filter and down the road once it starts to differ from original reading change filters
