Default Weld-on 795 question

Hello

I have read few contradcting reports on weld-on 795 on couple of different reefing boards, so just wanted to see if I can get some more info on this issue.

Some people have said that weld-on 795 is not safe for aquarium plumbing, while others said that it is. I will be using flex PVC and was told that cement for flex and regular PVC is not the same and that I have to use 795.

Any help would be great cause I will be doing my plumbing today

TIA

Hi, Weld On 705 is for hard pvc pipe and I use Weld On 795 for flex Hose or spa hose as recommend. I use weld on 795 to join flex hose pvc onto hard pvc. Aquarium has been in operation for many many years without harm to my fish or corals. Regards Ken
