Take a cell pic and go to the store I mentioned. It's close to you. You should tackle this problem before it gets too late to help your fish. PM spit.fire he might be able to help. Or post a pic on here

I'm heading over there in about 20 minutes to check on it

thanks for asking. spitfire seemed to think that they are ok and just to keep an eye on them. Since my original post they have cleared up alot, but they still have very small amounts on them so we will see what happens. for now all I can do is monitor.

keep the stress in your tank as low as possible ie dont move anything around and dont change your schedule ie feeding and lighting etc my tang will get a spot if i move a rock (very sensitive fish!) but then it goes away

There's a product he has called Medic by Polyplab. It's totally reefsafe. I bought a bellus angel and did not quarantine. Well I introduced Ick to my tank. Day 3 of a 10 day treatment and no sign of Ick.
Part of the ich life cycle involves them burrowing into the fish's scales and they are not visible isn't that right? I think people commonly think it's gone away when in fact it has not.

Thanks for the input. I have heard that before actually, its nice to hear someone confirm that. And as of right now they have almost completely disappeared. I did get a new maxspect razor, so if you say even light changes can effect them maybe that has something to do with it. And im not sure if it even was ich because only my two tangs had it. That was my first guess. Spitfire has told me that it should be ok and to monitor it, so im leaning towards what pinkreef said. Thanks for all the input

Thanks. And that is why I'm doing the full 10 day treatment as per the instructions.
