![]() I have a euro braced acrylic tank, and would like to somehow hang a frag rack from the euro brace. Some kind of clamp or clip on device attached to my frag rack would be good. Any ideas? No magnets or suction cups.

![]() Not sure what you mean. The euro brace prevents access to the sides...

![]() Are you going to use egg crate? You can build a bracket with PVC elbows and pipe to go over the euro brace but it looks ugly, I could probably build fancy acrylic brackets with a set screw to clip onto the PVC

![]() Yes, will be using eggcrate, and trying to keep it simple and unobtrusive.
Just had a brainwave... I have these clips that I was using to attach pump cords inside the tank to make them more tidy and out of the way. If I stick them to the back of the tank and hang the eggcrate on them, that might work. The centre brace on the eggcrate will keep it horizontal. ![]() ![]()

![]() Well, just put it into the tank. Looks like it might work. The clips are only fastened by the peel off sticky back strips on them. Not sure if that will hold up under water. At worst, I guess I could glue them on the acrylic with weldon glue. But will have to wait for a water change so I can glue it dry. The beauty of this solution is that the rack can be easily removed by just lifting it off at the rear clips.

![]() I doubt that glue will last very long. How about 2 or 3 nori clips? You could snap them on to the eurobrace & suspend the rack from them. Most clips have a hole in the handle for the suction cup. Remove the suction cup & attach some sort of line or rigid plastic affair thru that. Would also be easily moved & you may even arleady have some clips on hand.

![]() Yeah, was thinking about something to attach to the euro brace, which would give more flexibility with moving around. But as per the previous post, am trying these little plastic clips that attach to the tank sides. They are small, and should not even be noticeable once the coralline coats them over. But kind of fixes where you place your frag rack. Thanks for the suggestion, though, as I still may try other methods.
As for the sticky back tape, I can replace that with weldon glue if necessary. I have used these clips elsewhere for holding up chords, and they haven't fallen off yet.
