this is my first reef tank as you can see all the equipment i used is quite basic but seem to work out, there are quite a few air bubbles in the pics from the prizm.but i feel a few bubbles make the tank look more natural.

It is a simple Epson 850z, 2.1mp. Nothing fancy.

Looks great for your first sw setup

If at a later date you want to reduce the amount of bubbles going back via the skimmer return, simply add a small square of course foam to the return, this will capture most of the air bubbles before they are pumped back into the tank-but make sure you use a course foam otherwise if the foam trap is too fine then it will slowly get dirty and slow down flow, thus causing the return on the prizm to overflow

a gurther tip for your prism, go to your lfs and buy a good adjustable air valve for the end of your air intake line and fine tune it you willhave less/no microbubbles going back to the tank
