Default Yellowtail Butterflyfish

Just curious if anyone has one of these guys and how they fair in terms of reef safety... it seems equivocal in most texts.

I have a similiar species in my reef, the blackback butterfly, Chaetodon melannotus.

Corals like xenia, green star polyps, are toast. They will also pick at open brain corals. Mine has no interest in anything else, doesn't bother clams. Great personality, I'd never be without a butterfly, even though there is some compromise on the corals.

As always, YMMV.
